  1. Briefly describe how you have managed to stay confident and positive throughout your academic experiences.
    • I manage to stay confident and positive by being patient with myself and taking everything one day at a time. I also do continuous introspection to reflect on ways I can improve as a person and professional.
  2. Briefly describe how you have overcome obstacles to accomplish/work towards accomplishing your professional goals.
    • I overcome obstacles by keeping my goals at the forefront of my life. I am constantly reminding myself of what I need to do to reach my goals. I also use daily affirmations to give myself encouragement when I need it.
  3. In what ways did the Career and Professional Education Center (CAPE) help in your preparation/search for your internship experience or in securing employment? (workshops, events, 1-on-1 services, BengalLink/other resources
    • The CAPE was very helpful with their workshops that I attended and advice on applying for jobs.
  4. Any words of wisdom you would like to share with other students?
    • Always be willing to bet on yourself, you are capable of more than you think.
  5. Desired career plans after graduation?
    • After graduation I plan on continuing my education and obtaining my Doctoral degree.
