GET READY FOR JOB AND INTERNSHIP FAIR
- Find out what to do before, during and after the fair.

WHAT TO WEAR
- First impressions matter! It is important for students to dress professionally. Avoid wearing sweatpants, hoodies and jeans.
- Come to Suit-up, a virtual professional dress shopping event for Buffalo State students on Sunday, February 18th. Register now!
- Even in a virtual setting, dress is important.
PREPARE YOUR RESUME
- Go to a Resume Writing Workshop.
- Schedule an appointment with a Career Counselor.
- Attend Resume & Cover Letter Drop-in Hours: Tuesdays from 2:00PM - 4:00PM and Fridays from 1:00PM - 3:00PM.
INTRODUCE YOURSELF TO EMPLOYERS
- It is important to introduce yourself to employers at the fair. This is called an “Elevator Pitch,” which is a brief introduction about who you are, your academic and professional accomplishments and goals.
